AimFire Marketing’s partner, SayItForYou, introduced Susan Young to Vietnam veteran and published author Larry Laswell, who was looking for a way to reach potential fans of his historical fiction books via book author marketing on his website and social media outlets. He enlisted the help of AimFire Marketing to put together a targeted campaign to increase awareness and improve book sales and social media following.
AimFire Marketing started with a review of Larry Laswell’s website, conducting social media research and providing recommendations for improved results. Then we put together a content strategy for blogging and social media, with weekly blog posts highlighting insights from his newest book, The Marathon Watch. Each blog post would discuss a topic from his latest books, updates from Larry’s book tour, special offers, or other military fiction topics of interest. The corresponding social media posts would share military-related news and information, upcoming events, special offerings or behind-the-scenes information from the author. AimFire Marketing also conducted a public relations effort aimed at gaining traction on search engines and attracting book reviewers and media outlets.
