AimFire Marketing owner Susan Young has voluntee
red on the Brownsburg Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) event committee for two years. Her role with the organization includes public relations, marketing/communications and social media marketing. This includes notifying the public about meeting and fundraiser announcements, encouraging team participation and fundraising efforts, coordinating media relations efforts with local publications and broadcasting outlets, and covering the event on social media.
The Brownsburg Relay for Life event is currently the largest fundraising event in Hendricks County, and has raised more than $100,000 for the American Cancer Society for more than two years. AimFire Marketing has successfully increased fan following on Twitter and Facebook, increasing engagement and participation among fans. In addition, many local media outlets have covered the event, including WYRZ-98.9 FM, The Hendricks County Flyer, and the Hendricks County ICON.
